Old English Bulldog
The old english bulldog is an adorable puppy and an owner will always have a picture to show.
The specific features of the bred are: very strong, short, undershot jaws, laid back nose, compact body, short, stocky legs, and a very high pain threshold. These dogs are strong and courageous, but gentle with children and obedient with the master. Dogs of this breed cannot tolerate very cold and humid weather. They will not jog or run great distances or jump vigorously. What these animals need is a sofa and an opportunity to snore on this sofa without being disturbed. Coat care is minimal in the breed. These dogs live for about 8-10 years.

Old English Bulldog -
puppy, picture
The breed was developed in Great Britain around the 13th century from dogs with Molossian ancestors, brought to Britain by Phoenician traders. They were used for bull baiting: a cruel sport, in which the dog grabs the bull and holds on. In 1835, the Parliament banned bull baiting and the breed's popularity diminished. In the 1980’s, Miniature variant of this breed appeared. They were created as an attempt to improve the health and temperament of the full-sized breed by adding fresh blood to the gene pool. These small charming dogs are very popular for their funny looks, intelligence, longevity and health, but they retain the temperament of their full-sized relatives.
